Camp Iona 2016

On the 15th of November our class went to Camp Iona for the week.  It was raining the whole time and we missed out on heaps of activities because the river was too high and it was too wet and slippery.  On Tuesday we walked in Herbert Forest, we went down this track by a creek, it was really muddy and people kept slipping over and were covered in dirt!  We then went to a cave with lots of spiders in it.  It was really cool.  Then we went down a clay path down to the carpark.  My friend Peta slipped and started running and she ran the whole way down, because she couldn't stop.  On Wednesday, in the morning we played games inside and in the afternoon we did bivouacking and our team made the best bivouac.  Our team was Sam K, Fergus and Wills.  Then we made a fire in the rain.  We had Mass and camp performances.  On Thursday we made damper and crumble in the morning and then we did archery.  It cleared up and we went outside and mucked up the lawn playing bull-rush  We got really muddy and we went down the slide and went flying off the end and got bruises!! Then we did another session of archery.
