Sacrament

1. What does the word sacrament mean? Sacrament is a Christian Rite recognized as of particular importance and significance. There are various views on the existence and meaning of such rites.
2. What are the sacraments of the Catholic Church (in order of how they happen)? Baptism, reconciliation, confirmation, eucharist, marriage, holy orders and anointing of the sick.
3. What does initiation mean? The action of accepting someone or the beginning of something.
4. What are the sacraments of initiation into the Catholic Church? Explain what each one means and involves. Reconciliation means having your sins cleansed, or forgiven.
Confirmation is also one of the seven sacraments. it is when a person is sealed with the Holy Spirit.
Eucharist means when a person is ready to receive the body and blood of Jesus Christ.
The sacrament of marriage is when a Man  and a Woman promise to take each other as their husband or wife.
The Holy orders is when a particular person is accepted into the church as a priest.
Anointing of the sick is a ritual of healing the spirit and mental sickness.
